Most chemical processes in earth occur in aqueous media. Water quality and water properties are extremely important in industrial processes. Dissolved substances, either mineral or organic, may dramatically change some of the properties of water. Chemicals can be added to water to improve water’s solvent properties and heat transfer efficiency.

Phosphonates, surfactants, chelants and polymers are used to enhance the performance of detergents and cleaners and to control scale, corrosion and fouling in cooling systems and boilers.

QUESTCATIO specialties combine phosphonates, polymers, chelants and surfactants to produce superior formulas. Standard products are available for water treatment, detergents and textile auxiliaries but tailor-made products are also manufactured upon request, for specific requirements.
